Privacy Policy

This website (pierrenetty.com and its related addresses) is run by Pierre Netty, an independent musician based in the United Kingdom. I am the "controller" of any personal information described here, and you can reach me at pierre@netty.me.uk. This policy explains what information is involved when you visit, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What I collect

I do not ask you to create an account, and the site has no sign-up forms, analytics or advertising trackers. The only personal information I receive is:

• Emails you send me — your name, email address and whatever you choose to write.
• Basic technical information — like any website, the hosting provider briefly processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered securely.

Why I use it (lawful basis)

• Replying to your messages about bookings, press, licensing or fan mail — legitimate interests.
• Keeping the site running and secure — legitimate interests.

I never sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Third parties

• Website hosting — Lovable and its infrastructure providers deliver the pages, music and video.
• Google Fonts — the site's lettering loads from Google, which receives your IP address.
• Spotify, Instagram, Bandcamp — only if you click a link to them. Their own privacy policies then apply.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.

How long I keep it

Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and then deleted within two years. Hosting logs are kept by the provider for a short period for security.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information, to object to its use, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email me at pierre@netty.me.uk or use the contact section. I will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
